The Iranian regime’s embassy in Baghdad on Tuesday, June 10, transferred a number of agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) and terrorist Qods Force (QF) to the police station at Camp Liberty posing as relatives of residents. The agents were carrying signs with slogans against the residents.
The transfer took place with the assistance of Colonel Sadeq Mohammed Kadhim and Major Ahmed Khozair, Iraqi agents of the Governmental Committee tasked to suppress the residents.
Disclosing the regime’s ominous plans to pave the way for further bloodshed at Camp Liberty by dispatching a group of its agents to the camp, the clerical dictatorship acknowledges their plans for carrying the repressive measures.
Attacks on camps
Ashraf and Liberty by Iraq’s armed forces and militias loyal to the mullahs’
regime in Iran since 2009 have led to 116 deaths. A further 26 residents of the
camps have died of lack of timely medical treatment due to the medical siege
imposed by the Iraqi authorities.

Mrs.
Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance and key speaker to the
event, in her speech titled “Democratic and non-nuclear Iran with regime change”, explained that the atrocities
and suppressive measures of the regime and its proxies in Iraq to annihilate
members of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in Camp
Liberty is out of their fear of Iran’s organized resistance. She blamed the west and said:
“By repeatedly violating international treaties and reneging on their written
obligations toward the Ashrafis [PMOI members], the U.S. and the UN have in
practice sided with the religious fascism ruling Iran. I once again call on the
U.S. and the UN to take urgent action to protect the Camp Liberty residents and to put an end to the
medical and logistical siege of the camp and its prison-like conditions.” She added, “If the United States does not
guarantee that the PMOI is protected against attacks by the terrorist Quds
Force, it must, at least, return part of its member’s personal arms for
self-defense and protection purposes.”

Rudi Giuliani presented an official letter signed by the US politicians and prominent figures to Mrs. Maryam Rajavi |
"We Will
Stand with You", Mayor Rudi Giuliani
Rudi Giuliani, former Mayor of New York City,
and U.S. Presidential candidate (2008), who was leading the US delegation to
the Iranian resistance Grand Gathering in Paris, said 'Khamenei, Rouhani, and
all the rest of the mullahs’ regime should be put to trial for killing
thousands of people and it is about time we stop them… American soldiers have
been killed by the Quds force… We unequivocally support a non-nuclear Iran.
Iranian regime cannot have the nuclear capacity, because this regime cannot be
trusted.
'I will do everything I can to make sure that every single candidate is asked this simple question, ARE YOU FOR REGIME CHANGE IN IRAN?' Mr. Giuliani added.
The distinguished Mayor of New York also said: 'As to the people of Camp Liberty, you bare the biggest burden here. It is coming. Please have hope. We are working very, very hard to liberate you. We are working very, very hard to get the world’s attention... You showed us what the future of Iran would be, the character of the people of Iran. Not these mullahs, not these dictators, you showed us the characters of the people of Iran. We will stand with you.'
Mayor Rudy Giuliani concluded by presenting the official letter or statement to Mrs. Maryam Rajavi . I have the honor of presenting this letter to a woman that is hero to me, Mrs. Maryam Rajavi. “I am proud to present this statement to a great lady, a wonderful woman who stands as a hero to me, Maryam Rajavi. This letter has been sent to US president as well,” said Giuliani in his speech before a massive audience. “I read some part of this statement to you. Khamenei must leave. He must be ousted from Iran. Enough is enough. The mullahs’ regime which has done nothing but destructions in their neighborhood and killing inside the country must now go.”

several former senior
American military officials at the grand gathering pressed the Obama
administration to “keep America’s word” in protecting the Iranian dissidents at
Camp Liberty from terrorist attacks by the Iranian regime and its Iraqi
proxies.
General Hugh Shelton,
former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said: “Our failure to stand for
basic principles and rights only encourages the regime to violate them further
with impunity.”
Col. Thomas Cantwell
(ret.), former US Military Commander at Camp Ashraf, and Col. Wes Martin
(ret.), former Chief Protection / Antiterrorism Officer of the coalition forces
in Iraq, also supported the protection of Camp Liberty residents.
In 2004, the US
government recognized all PMOI members in Camp Ashraf as “Protected Person” under
the Fourth Geneva Convention. In 2011, after Ashraf residents agreed to
relocate to Camp Liberty in Baghdad, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees
(UNHCR) recognized all PMOI members there as asylum seekers with protections
under international law.
In his speech to the
rally on Saturday, Gen. Shelton also condemned the Iranian regime’s export of
fundamentalism and terrorism in the region.
“There should be no
direct or indirect cooperation with Iran under the pretext of fighting ISIS.
Iran has been a major engine of Islamic extremism and fundamentalism. It is
globally recognized as the primary sponsor of terrorism.”
